The history of street photography

Street Photography is often similar to Documentary photography. Its kind of like a square is a rectangle but a rectangle isn't a square. The documentary photographer isn't always spontaneous. We want to photograph the news and document day to day living. Street Photography tends to position itself as art. They want their audience to think under the surface and about the meaning of the image.
It started around 1890 according to the artstory.com

The inspiration to get into the street came from the "Humans of New York." Portraits with stories are a big interest in my life so artists like Brandon Stanton and Bill Cunningham, I have found inspiration in.

Finding out that this whole world is different and that everyone is unique and we all come from different backgrounds.

Bill Cunningham is huge although he specifically is fashion, there is still a story to be told with his street photography.
